Who you are dealing with
Tapit is made and sold by Alfie Rees ("I", "me"). You can reach me at hello@tapitsounds.com. By downloading or using Tapit you agree to these terms.
What Tapit is
Tapit is a menu bar app for macOS 13 or later that plays keyboard sounds as you type. The free version includes two sound packs and the core features. Tapit Pro is a one-time purchase of $4.99 that unlocks the other sound packs and Dynamic sound. It is not a subscription.
Your licence
- You may install and use Tapit on Macs you own or control.
- A Pro licence key is for you. Please don't share, resell or publish it. You can move it between Macs: removing it from one Mac in Settings frees it for another.
- You may not sell or redistribute Tapit, or its sound packs on their own.
Payment
Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the reseller and merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy's own terms apply to the payment itself. Prices are in US dollars, and taxes may be added at checkout depending on where you live.
Refunds
You can ask for a full refund within 14 days of buying. See the refund policy.
Sound packs
Every bundled recording is credited inside the app, under Settings. The pack line-up can change between versions.
Privacy
Tapit never stores, logs or sends what you type. The privacy policy has the details.
No guarantees
I work to keep Tapit reliable, but it is provided as it is, without any promise that it will be free of faults or suit a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, my total liability for any claim about Tapit is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have by law as a consumer.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version will be posted here with a new date. Changes don't remove features you have already paid for.
